Bip Meet & Suit Conference

BiP is a freeware instant messaging application owned and developed by Turkcell. It allows users to send text messages, voice messages and video calling and it can be downloaded from App Store, Google Play, and Huawei AppGallery. BiP has over 53 million users worldwide and was first released in 2013.

Project Brief & Overview

With the Corona period, the working system began to change. The need for online interviews has become much more necessary. We decided to make a fast video call experience under the Turkcell BiP messaging application.

My Role

- Analyzing the needs and determining the strategy with the product team.
- I was one of the two designers responsible for the end-to-end UX/UI
- Completion of the project with the software developers.
- Follow up after publication.

Discover

We conducted field research to understand user needs. I started researching available products and interviewed people who were working. We had a very short time for this experience because with the pandemic, working life changed unplanned and fast.

Define

In the definition step, I analyzed the user needs. I was one of the main users in this project. This made it easier for me to empathize with users. We combined user needs with company goals and completed project items with product managers.

Ideate

We planned the employees from Persona groups in the center. We created it together with product managers according to user needs and company goals. We ranked the goals according to MVP.

• Conclusions and Decisions

- Conversation rooms should be created.
- Rooms must be encrypted and secure.
- The room limit should be high.
- Screen sharing, presentation should be possible.
- It should be a moderator and the moderator should be able to control the speakers.
- To be able to highlight the videos of the speakers.
- Audio and video control.
- Meeting planner.
- To share the meeting.
- Conversation should be chatted.

Prototype

After the idea stage, I started wireframe and rapid prototyping. You planned to do quick tests with my company mates for a better experience. I created prototype flows for this.

I created experience flows with Wireframe. We completed the decisions with the product managers from these wireframes.

• Visual Design

I started visual design with desktop and continued with mobile design. I created the main structures, the color palette and the guidelines.

Test

During the testing phase, the main metrics were decided. First, quick tests were conducted with internal employees. Then the tests continued with live users. A/B testing plan was made. We decided to use google analytics for the data.

Final of the Project

• We started to use the product with approximately 12.000 employees in the company.

• The development process continued with the feedback received on the product.

• We started event assignments and data tracking with Google analytics.

• The product started with Turkcell Bip and at the end of the first year it was decided to become a separate product. The name of the product was decided to be suite conference. For details,

BluTV Profile Creation

There are two main metrics in BluTV. Increasing annual subscription and content viewing time. Profiles allow people who live together in a single household to have their own personalized BluTV experience. As BluTV Product Team, we want to increase the viewing time of the content with personalized profile suggestions.

HepsiEmlak Redesign

The posting period for the moderator is long and complex. Not to call real estate agents by phone. Long and complicated steps in finding property for the end user. These issues consist of approximately two stages, the end product, front-end users and the admin panel in the background. We are worked on this issue for the frontend user product.
